We asked Beth a few questions about the event and our aim of bringing together behavior analysis, entrepreneurship, technology and clinical applications. Check out her answers and a clear description of the workshop she’s a part of at NextGen Las Vegas! Oh and we have a video in there too at the bottom called Entrepreneurship & Technology in Behavior Analysis so you can get to know Beth.

We livestream and record the event. So you have access to all of the content for 30-days after the event regardless of the ticket type you choose!

Brief statement on why you’re excited to speak at this conference and/or how you feel you can inspire people to innovate their profession with technology.

I am excited to share my passion for entrepreneurship and technology in behavior analysis, and to promote discussions around where we are heading as a field.

What interests you, or fascinates you about technology?

I am fascinated with where we've come with technology, and how we can use it to shape practices within the field. Right now, I am super interested in machine learning and how behavior analysis can support this growing industry, as well as the use of virtual reality and augmented reality in staff training and development.

What interests you, or fascinates you about entrepreneurship?

The level of reinforcement I receive from engaging in entrepreneurial practices is strong.

What are you most known for? We want to make sure novel attendees have as much time to prepare as possible to maximize their learning with you.

I think I am most known for Operant Coffee. However, those who have known me for awhile, know me for my other company, Shaping Development, where I focus on supervision of future BCBAs and development of organizations.

If you can give words of encouragement to attendees who wish to explore these areas, what would you say?

Find what you love, and spend most of your time doing it. Don't be afraid to take risks.
